The Community Preventive Services Task Force recommends interventions that reduce out-of-pocket costs to increase vaccination rates for people of all ages. These interventions can occur in individual clinical settings, as part of statewide programs, or through national efforts and can include: 

  • Paying for vaccines
  • Providing insurance 
  • Lowering or getting rid of costs like copays and deductibles
