Lung cancer screening can help prevent death among people at high risk by finding lung cancer early, when it may be easier to treat. This publication summarizes the presentations and discussions from a workshop on lung cancer screening implementation hosted by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM). 

Experts discussed the evidence base for lung cancer screenings, the challenges of implementing effective lung cancer screening practices, and ways to overcome these challenges.
