Abstract

The American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) works to advance osteopathic medical education through service to colleges and students. AACOM provides prospective students with a central application service, disseminates information on osteopathic medicine and medical schools, promotes improved opportunities for minority groups, studies osteopathic medical education, monitors legislative developments, and refers students to sources of financial aid.

Publications

AACOM publishes handbooks on the osteopathic medical profession, schools and programs, and educational requirements. Also available are an application packet and special reports. There is a charge for some materials.
