The National Dairy Council (NDC), established in 1915 by the dairy industry, conducts and funds research on the nutritional value of the U.S. food supply, foods and health, and the role of milk nutrients in health and diet. NDC also develops nutrition education programs and materials for children in preschool and elementary schools, consumers, and health professionals.
